well beacuse we have to write these ANNOYING essays over STUPID sh!t!!!! I DONT CARE and NEVER WILL care what Cicero and Thoreau thought of injustice, yet i have to sit down and write a two page essay on my thoughts, when i can't even read it, beacuse its IMPOSSIBLE to read and again I DON'T CARE!!!!!

English Comp sucks... They need to remove it from the requirements... General Education requirements are dumb anyway... I specialize to get away from the damn Gen Ed stuff...

Well the thing is, I do have a major - but I still have to have at least one English credit. and our English class happens to be complete CRAP. I hate it. Im trying to write this essay now, and it sucks beacuse I don't know what im talking about, beacuse i can't make myself read and understand this stuff. And i'll probley get a terrible grade on it beacuse of so. and i have to wonder, after taking 12 years of English, why the heck do i still need it??? When i become the great and wonderus Psychologist (or game designer, haven't decided yet) will i really need to know and understand and talk about Cicero? I HIGHLY doubt it.

that would be really really really nice right about now. except this paper is due tommorow, i have put it off for a week now beacuse i knew this would happen and i knew i would get angry and throw my english book across my room and against the wall and stomp on it.

I read that book 3 times in high school. *stabs book* I hated it. Of course, i would MUCH rather be reading that right now then what I am reading.

But the good news is, I am almost done with the essay. I will get a sucky score on it of course. But at least its almost finished.

I WAS an English major. I loved it.

You'd be surprised what it all has to do with life, love, and other mysteries.

Besides, it really gets important when doing stuff like filling out job applications, many jobs require very good English, and just generally not being considered dumb all fall under proper English. If you don't like lit, well, that's your loss, but it is a very important subject.

Besides. You can't get a psychology job by saying "L20 Psych LFJ w/Hospital-have med skl+sund pen of fort +30!!! kekeke free itamz plz!!! I gots pills!!!

Working on electronics doesnt require much English.

Only thing I have to really worry about is making speeches and doing repair write ups what take nearly no writing at all. Only reason for the speech is if I'm showing new equipment to everyone.
